I found Carol’s art workshop to be thoroughly enjoyable and illuminating.  Due to Carol's warm guidance, soothing music, and grounding meditation, I felt able to truly immerse myself into the paper and paints.  I came to realise in amazement that I was painting a map of my internal processing and a complex I have been living with since childhood!  It’s a few days since the workshop and I am using the map to encourage connection, understanding, compassion and direction to my true essence.  Thank you Carol and all the participants it was truly a magical day. Dear Carol,

Can I say how much I enjoyed your workshop last Saturday. I returned home feeling very refreshed and energized

I liked the way the room  was large and bright and gave that element of space. When we had finished getting to know each other and had picked our table it was good to get involved with the guided meditation in order to connect with the inner space. 

When it was time to 'let loose' on the paints and materials I picked up 5 bottles of colour, promptly using all of them there were so many artifacts to choose from and so much variety of paint and brushes etc. 

I developed a technique to get the most out of my work by folding up the picture adding more paint, which gave different designs and colours. One particular result looked as though it was a painting of a pond with lilies and gold fish.  Another result from the fold and flattened was an elephant but after several more attempts I gave in, and found a mirage of colour and depth which I am duly  pleased with because it holds so much more mystery. When it is enlarged to a size approx. 90x90 this will indeed be a very interesting picture. Looking forward to your next workshop
